Book NowFITQOR Wellness Club in Cascais houses a full strength gym, a complete recovery suite, and an on-site Wellness Clinic in a single location.
Sessions available to non-members, as well as members.

Lymphatic massage at FITQOR's Wellness Clinic is a focused, 1-on-1 session with our physiotherapist, Joana Jerónimo. Using light, rhythmic strokes, the technique encourages pooled fluid to move back toward the lymph nodes, where your body can reabsorb it — the same underlying mechanism used clinically to manage post-surgical swelling and lymphedema. For everyday concerns like bloating, water retention, and heavy legs after travel or long days on your feet, it offers a gentle, non-invasive way to support your body's natural drainage system.

For fluid-based bloating and abdominal puffiness, yes — the gentle, rhythmic strokes used in lymphatic massage can help move retained fluid and ease temporary fullness. It isn't a treatment for bloating caused by gas or digestion, so results vary by cause.
It can. By encouraging fluid to move back toward the lymph nodes for reabsorption, lymphatic massage is commonly used to reduce mild swelling and the heavy-leg feeling that builds up after long days on your feet or after travel.
No. It uses much lighter pressure and slow, rhythmic strokes designed specifically to move lymph fluid, rather than the deeper pressure used in sports or relaxation massage.
It depends on your goals. Many clients start with a first consultation and a follow-up session, then move to a 4, 8, or 12-session package for ongoing support.
